About Dr. Kelly Prill

Welcome to showing up.

Welcome to choosing yourself.
I see you.

I’m Dr. Kelly Prill, and I know that healing is not something you force. It’s something you learn to access by listening to your body’s intelligence.

My work integrates energy, nature, and neurology to help you understand how your system adapts, protects, and heals. Together, we focus on restoring self-trust, regulation, and a deeper connection to who you are beneath survival.

Are you ready to go deep with your healing and address what's at the core of your well being?

With over two decades in medicine, I have come to know that lasting health is rooted in how the body functions and adapts. Nervous system regulation, biochemistry, hormones, inflammation, and emotional steadiness are not separate. Together, they shape symptoms, resilience, and overall well-being.

Through clinical practice and lived experience, integrating naturopathic medicine with energy, nature, and neurology, I work with symptoms as meaningful signals rather than problems to suppress. My approach focuses on understanding physiology, supporting the nervous system, and addressing root patterns so the body can restore balance and function.

This work invites you to engage your healing differently. Grounded in science, presence, and a functional relationship with your body, it offers a path toward clarity, stability, and sustainable health.

My Journey

My path into medicine began in my twenties during a period of questioning and searching for something more meaningful and grounded.

That search led me to Portland, where I enrolled at East West College of Healing Arts. It was there that I was first introduced to naturopathic medicine. I was drawn to its systems-based approach and its respect for the body’s innate intelligence. From there, I completed a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and went on to attend the National University of Natural Medicine.

During my training, I immersed myself in herbal medicine, homeopathy, nature cure, physical medicine, and most importantly, the study of human physiology. I was deeply engaged in understanding how cells, organs, and systems function together and how supporting that physiology could restore health.

After graduating, I practiced as a primary care physician for several years. While many patients improved, a subset did not respond as expected. That discrepancy led me to ask deeper questions about adaptation, regulation, and why certain patterns persisted despite appropriate treatment.

Over time, it became clear that the missing piece was the nervous system. I had been addressing the body without fully understanding how the brain organizes function, adaptation, and healing.

To address this, I pursued post-doctoral training in functional neurology, earning my Diplomate through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and studying under exceptional clinicians. Integrating clinical neuroscience with naturopathic medicine brought clarity and cohesion to my work, uniting physiology, nature, and neurology.

What ultimately completed this framework was recognizing the role of energy and lived experience in shaping physiology. This integration now informs how I approach symptoms, patterns, and healing as a whole.

My Practice Today...

In conventional medical settings, emotional and energetic health are often overlooked, even though they directly shape nervous system function, physiology, and symptoms. Energy is not abstract or mystical. It shows up in breath, regulation, relationships, and how the body responds to its environment.

The exploration of neuroscience, along with expanded states of consciousness and continued research, deepened my understanding of how healing occurs when the body feels safe, supported, and connected.

This understanding led me to create Wild Roots Medicine, a physical space designed for healing, education, and embodied practice, and The Wild Roots Collective, a non-profit model that expands access to this work. Healing is not meant to happen in isolation. Safe, intentional spaces where people learn, regulate, and heal together are essential for sustainable change.

My work now integrates energy, nature, and neurology within both individual and community settings, reflecting a model of medicine that honors physiology, relationship, and collective healing. This is not a trend. It is the future of care.

My Guidance...

I am deeply in love with life, including its shadows. My inner work has reshaped who I am and how I live. Slowing me down, teaching me presence, and inviting me to meet life with honesty and courage rather than perfection.

I am a mother to two incredible boys who continually teach me about love, humility, and what truly matters. My life has included real rupture and rawness, including divorce, betrayal, burnout, solo parenting, emotional abuse… Through radical responsibility, reparenting, and reclaiming my body and truth, I have rebuilt myself from the inside out. Finding rebellion in rest, living unapologetically as me, being joy through simplicity and the sacredness of the ordinary.

Nature is one of my greatest teachers, offering clarity, steadiness, and wisdom. And I am in deep awe and reverence to her.

I lead and live through integrity, sovereignty, and joy. My work is an extension of my lived experience, devoted to expanding how we understand health by honoring wholeness, embodiment, and the deep intelligence of nature.
